Our Annual Candle Ceremony – the heartwarming highlight of our calendar that embodies the essence of our charity, Legacy of Love. This special event is a poignant gathering where we extend our heartfelt invitation to all beneficiaries, including parents who have lost a child and families mourning the loss of a loved one.

During the ceremony, we present each beneficiary with a candle bearing the name of their departed child or family member, symbolising our continuous thoughts and support. These candles hold a significant purpose—they can be lit and cherished throughout the 24-hour duration of the Desert Dash, a powerful and meaningful gesture of remembrance.

In the company of our dedicated cyclists riding for Legacy of Love, the ceremony becomes a touching moment of connection. As they receive their specially curated goodie bags, our cyclists actively participate in the candle handover to the grieving beneficiaries. This shared experience creates a profound bond, uniting individuals who have faced similar losses. It's a time for solace and shared understanding.
