welcome to legacy of love
Legacy of Love was established in 2017 after we lost our daughter suddenly at age 11 due to acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Through her incredible love for life, her “love “notes and some random signs we were inspired to start a platform to share the family’s story, heal, comfort, and relate to other parents in a similar situation. It started off as a blog, to write about our own journey living through this grief. Mainly to help me to navigating this process, find healing with my thoughts and pen down the emotions and my process of my faith. Soon this platform grew into various projects to create awareness to love unconditionally and comfort those experiencing trauma. The Legacy of Love trust was established to support all the growing projects and events.
Faith, Hope and Love are the three primary gifts we have as Christians. Our message is that you will spread your seeds of love and be the light in someone’s darkness.
Topics covered here span bereavement, coping with death, living purposefully each day, parenting, faith, and occasionally, poems and prayers that hold personal significance. In an effort to bring professionalism and diverse perspectives, I may include articles from local experts.
My aspiration is for this blog to serve as a platform, much like Legacy of Love, offering inspiration, comfort, book recommendations, and stories filled with love and hope to support grieving parents, friends, family, and the community at large.
If you haven't personally experienced loss or adversity, this blog may provide valuable insights and lessons for the future. Our shared content reflects our unique journey, perspective, experiences, and the life lessons we've garnered. While your journey may differ, and you may not agree with all the content, our diversity allows us to learn from each other and gain a broader perspective on the diverse ways we navigate grief.
In addition to this blog, we have projects and events. Through the events we create awareness and some funds to sustain the projects.
